Dear Nick (and others),
I'm slowly beginning to think that good library guiding is the way forward instead
of the typical tour we tend to force on students ......
Instead of the tour, I might try getting a couple of groups of students to put a
list of characteristics into the order that they think important e.g. appropriate
opening times, availability of subject guides, helpful enquiry staff and so on ...
this should generate a little bit of a discussion....
