Yes - Technical Services (Document Delivery, Peridocals,
Acquisitions, Processing and Repair)
Outgoing loans (called Interlibrary Loans) are part of Lending
Services.

Reports to Sub-Librarian in charge of Technical Services

Lamda (c.50 requests per month) About 95% satisfaction
London Library - via membership (c. 50 per year, mainly 19th
century items not available for loan elsewhere)
usually 100% satisfaction as catalogue checked before request sent
COPAC libraries direct (c.20 per month and rising)- for some
time we have been checking on COPAC for all post-1980 items not shown on
OPAC97 (BLDSC) and we apply direct to individual libraries
(often by email)if they hold and it shows as available. It saves
time (and soon, money!) waiting for locations.
About 85% satisfaction owing to some D/L replies.
> 5. How do you integrate online full text resources into your ILL service,

Any requests for readily available online full text articles
are referred back to the reader with instruction on how to access.
We check all requests against our own catalogue and list of online
resources.
