We've also now been informed by SwetsBlackwell that the format of the
URLs we've been using:
http://swets2.nesli.ac.uk/direct/issue?title=123456
has never been supported and that it is only by luck that it has worked
until now! So presumably the following is not supported either though
it works:
http://swets2.nesli.ac.uk/direct/SB_issue?title=123456
Since it's some time ago I cannot be one hundred percent certain but I
seem to remember the web page listing, e.g. Blackwell Science titles
http://www.nesli.ac.uk/bsl.html (now bsllist.html), initially did not
include URLs or links to full text. So instead we went to SwetsNet,
searched for our full text subscriptions by publisher and copied and
pasted the URLs that appeared in the location window of the browser
into our catalogue records.

Unfortunately we have made a conscious decision not to maintain separate
pages of electronic journals but to keep URLs in the catalogue records
only and there is no easy way to make the necessary changes in our
catalogue. Since it's not just a matter of copy and paste in any case a
global edit facility won't be of any use. And looking through our records
I found that we already changed the URLs of all SwetsNet titles once
before in 1999.
Sorry to air my frustration in public - I will write to SwetsBlackwell
directly as soon as I figure out how we are going to correct all the
affected URLs.
