I'm looking for syllabi, preferably available online, for courses in film studies that consider philosophy by way of film -- the philosophical problems films raise and attempt to resolve. I'm equally interested in courses devoted to philosophy in film and those that include traditional philosophical inquiry among the critical tools under discussion.
I have identified a few of such courses at North American institutions, generally administered by the philosophy department, but cross-listed with film/media studies courses. If you teach, or are aware of, such a course, please tell me about it: [log in to unmask]
