I'll defer to you on that front. I have no experience

I didn't claim there was a "magical aura". Just that
it is definitely technologically and perceptually distinct
from the other film formats. Plus there are differences
on the psychological and sociological levels.

Because I'm out in the boondocks, and the internet is
my sole connection to "film culture". Plus, I'm not the
producer type. And "grabbing" a digital video camera is
a very expensive proposition! :)
