                          ACM Hypertext 2000
                      ACM Digital Libraries 2000
The 11th ACM Conference on Hypertext and Hypermedia
              San Antonio, Texas, May 30 - June 7, 2000
                        http://www.ht00.org

The organisers of the ACM Hypertext 2000 and Digital Libraries 2000
conferences are pleased to announce the programmes for these two major
international events.

We have a wide range of presentations and activities of interest to
anyone with an academic or commercial interest in hypertext and digital
libraries. A strong collection of academic works reporting state-of-the-art
developments is complemented by a schedule of tutorials for those needing
to update their skills on XML and XLink, digital libraries, groupware,
and many other subjects. There are also in-depth workshops for participants
to discuss topics in a tightly-focused group. Commercial interests are also
represented, with keynote speakers and exhibitions of commercial products,
as well as demonstrations by academics of working systems.

The two conferences run back-to-back, starting with Hypertext 2000 from
May 30th to June 3rd, and continuing with Digital Libraries from June 2nd
to June 7th. Both conferences are held in the attractive Menger Hotel in
San Antonio, Texas. The conference URLs where you can find details of the
entire programmes can be found at
	http://www.ht00.org/	and http://www.dl00.org/

Summary of contents:

        * keynote speakers

	* tutorials

Overview of the programmes
--------------------------
Both the Hypertext and Digital Libraries conferences include presentations
on the state-of-the art in leading research on these key areas. This includes
paper presentations, interactive poster presentations where you can talk
informally with a presenter about their work in detail, demonstrations where
you can see presenters' systems at work and maybe even try them out for
yourself, and the exhibition where you can try and buy commercial hypertext
and digital library products. There are even hypertext readings by authors
reading their original literary works!

Details on all of these categories of presentations can be found at the
conference Web pages at
        http://www.ht00.org/ and http://www.dl00.org

Registration
------------
Registrations are now open for both Hypertext 2000 and Digital Libraries
2000. You can register either by filling out the secure online form or by
printing the form and faxing or posting it.

Just click the "registration" item in the menu on the left side of either
of the conference pages, http://www.ht00.org/ or http://www.dl00.org/ to
be taken to the registration page.

Take advantage of a range of early registration discounts by registering
before May 1st!

Exhibition proposals
--------------------
Exhibits are intended to demonstrate commercial products of interest
to the conference community. If you have a hypertext product or a
digital library application, this could be an excellent opportunity
for you to target this product to a select audience.

For further information, select the "submissions" item from the menu
on the conference Web pages, then select the "submission instructions"
laink for exhibitions; otherwise contact [log in to unmask] or [log in to unmask]
The deadline for submissions is 15th April.
