Merle Jacob (PhD) is leader of the research group that studies
the relations and processes of knowl edge creation in
academic-industry research cooperation at the FENIX Research
Program. She has published mainly in the area of policy studies
and academic-industry relations. She is currently co-authoring a
book with Tomas Hellstrom that will be entitled Knowledge, Policy
and Risk and will be published by Kluwer Academic Publishers.
 
Tomas Hellstrom (PhD) is at the FENIX Research Program at
Chalmers University of Technology, which is a cooperative
research and education programme between the university and a
number of large Swedish multinationals. He is currently leading
the Research Group on 'Strategic Knowledge and Risk Management'
(SKRAM!), which revolves around several projects on knowledge
management and risk management conducted in cooperation with
business and public organizations around Europe. He has published
mainly in the area of policy studies, risk management and
philosophy of science. He is currently working on his next book,
Knowledge, Policy and Risk.
