Please find below details of a post to be advertised in the Scotsman on
Friday.

SE Scotland Wider Access Regional Forum
Development & Research Officer

Salary  £15,240  - £19,224

Applications are invited for the post of Development & Research Officer to
facilitate the work of the Forum, liaise with Forum members', support the
organisations of seminars and conduct relevant research projects.

The successful applicant will have at least two years' research experience
preferably in a higher education environment as well as strong organisation
and communication skills.

The South East Scotland Wider Access Regional Forum was established in 1998
with funding from the Scottish Higher Education Funding Council.  It is a
partnership of the following institutions:  Edinburgh College of Art,
Edinburgh University, Heriot Watt University, Napier University, Queen
Margaret University College and Stirling University.  The role of the Forum
is to share information about wider access and participation projects
between higher education institutions, develop collaborative projects and
drive forward the wider access agenda within higher education.

In the first instance, the post is for two years and will be located at the
Corstorphine Campus of Queen Margaret University College.
