LAPTOP SURGEON SAVES A LIFE LONG-DISTANCE
With X-rays e-mailed to his laptop computer via his mobile phone,
a British surgeon saved a patient's life while he was on a train
hundreds of miles away. One of Dr. Admed Samy's patients needed
immediate surgery, and he diagnosed the problem and provided
instructions after his colleagues sent him the X-rays. The
subsequent operation was successful.
