Dear colleague,
Please find below a conference 'call for papers' announcement that
may be of interest to you, or your colleagues or students.
We aim to attract a range of papers from different vantage points in
economics. In particular, Marxist political economy has traditionally
been well represented, a feature we very much hope continues this
year.
The primary objective is to provide a forum for postgraduate
students (in the US 'graduate') or recently graduated lecturers and
researchers to present their work, although all are welcome and
encouraged to attend.
CALL FOR PAPERS
The FIFTH POSTGRADUATE ECONOMICS CONFERENCE
at The University of Leeds, UK
Friday 1st December 2000
Supported by
Leeds University Business School
Leeds Business School, Leeds Metropolitan University
Post Keynesian Economics Study Group
Building on the success of previous conferences - which have
attracted participants from around the world - we are again
providing a unique opportunity for PhD, masters and recently
graduated students to present and discuss their research. We are
eager to develop a genuine plurality of debate between areas and
approaches within economics and related social sciences.
Therefore submissions are invited from any area or perspective of
economics, broadly conceived.
In addition to the presentation of papers, there will also be a poster
session.
For consideration please send a paper or extended abstract of at
least 1000 words to reach the conference committee by Monday,
2nd October 2000
