Speaking as a somewhat voluble brit, I have no problems whatsoever about
this list's national constituency, I'll just blague on at whoever from
wherever given the chance and the mood. I must say aside to the cher and
esteemed Candice that I have no recollection whatsoever of conceding
anything but I would most definitely defend to the Battle of Britain the
protected space required for Alison's Christmas tree, which, you may recall,
did appear here at a rather ironic angle.
As for Kent, well, he was both a pain and a stimulus. I don't see how you
can expect a list made up of mostly poets not to be something of a theatre
and melodrama-ground - after all, it is all about performance, but not in
front of pub audiences, nor on websited technopseud, but on that most
intimidating proving space of all, the deathly silence of the white page.
No wonder we're all hyped-up.
