Dear BARS Member
I have a number of important and recently published books that I
am still trying to place. Largely this is because prospective
reviewers are already reviewing them elsewhere. I'd be grateful if
any members interested in reviewing the books listed below would
contact me:
Andrew Bennet, Romantic Poets and the Culture of Posterity
(CambridgeUniversity Press, 1999)
Mary Jean Corbett, Allegories of Union in Irish Writing, 1790-1870
(Cambridge University press, 2000).
John Dolan, Poetic Occasion from Milton to Wordsworth
(Macmillan, 2000)
Andrew Gibson, Yeats, Coleridge and the Romantic sage
(Macmillan, 2000)
David Morse, The Age of Virtue: British Culture from the
Restoration to Romanticism (Macmillan, 2000)
Joshua Wilner, Feeding on Infinity (John Hopkins University Press,
2000)
Reviews should be 800 words and submitted by September 2001.
Please could all BARS members with outstanding reviews aim to
get them to me by 31st March 2001 for inclusion in BARS 19.
