I'm just in the process of exploring the possibility of migrating our
catalogues to CALM 2000, and I wondered if anyone out there had any views to
offer on its merits, or otherwise. I would be particularly interested to
hear from anyone who has recently moved to CALM, and your opinion of the
support provided during the migration process. If anyone's using the web
server module, I would be interested to hear about that, and also the image
handling application, plus how easy it is to adapt the software for your own
purposes.
I appreciate that this is a large subject but even a one liner giving your
general feeling about the software, and the company would be really useful.
And if there's anyone in the London area who would be prepared to give me a
guided tour of their CALM catalogues, that would be brilliant.
Please feel free to reply to me at the email address below (unless of course
you feel the urge to share your thoughts with everyone), and I will
summarise responses, keeping it suitably anonymous if there's anything
really controversial.
Thanks very much.
Lucy Jones
