POLICY SUPPORT AND INFORMATION UNIT
Planning and Information Officer
£17,125 - £20,828 per annum
37 hours per week
Post is based in Ormskirk, Lancashire
Responsible for external data returns and the analysis and supply of internal quantitative information, the unit provides data underpinning the submission of bids and undertakes bespoke projects supporting Edge Hill's planning and monitoring services. The unit maintains and develops students, staff and resource allocation and projection models.
Working within a small team across all activities of the Unit, you will maintain the Unit's Intranet site and assist the production, interpretation and internal dissemination of quantitative information and the production of external returns.
Qualified to degree level in a numerate discipline, you will have sound report writing and IT skills honed by at least two years' experience within higher education. Ideally this will have involved the use of relational databases. Competent using Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Access, you will also have the interpersonal skills to forge good working relationships across the institution and with external contacts. Highly motivated, with an eye for detail and a dedication to delivering to timescales and quality standards, you will need to be totally comfortable working within a quantitative data environment.
