This is an innovative project investigating mineral reactions that are critical for industrial minerals processing, engineering and tectonics with novel synchrotron techniques. The student will be supervised by an excellent research team in Europe and Australia. This project is in collaboration with Saint Gobain, the world's largest plaster manufacturer, who will host the candidate for an extended placement at their research center in Paris.

Please note the eligibility criteria for E4DTP projects, which are restricted to UK nationals, EU residents in the UK and internationals with permanent residence rights in the UK.
