I am trying to install FSL on SUSE Linux. As the FSL installer does not work for SUSE Linux, I tried to download sources and compile from source. I downloaded the source for FSL, fsl-5.0.11-sources.tar.gz, and tried to uncompress it using:
tar xzf fsl-5.0.11-sources.tar.gz
I got the following error message:
gzip: stdin: not in gzip format
tar: Child returned status 1
tar: Error is not recoverable: exiting now
Is is possible to post an md5 or sha1 hash of the correct tar.gz file to check that the download was complete/correct? Is it possible that the compressed source file provided from https://fsl.fmrib.ox.ac.uk/fsldownloads_registration is corrupted?
Any suggestion is appreciated.
Thank you,
Adina
