For those of you who have been looking for free, open source eye tracking,
I know the options out there are very limited.
You may already be familiar with Derrick Parkhurst's (et al) project called
openEyes. http://thirtysixthspan.com/openEyes/index.html
However this project has only been working on Linux.
I've taken the post-processing (not real-time) visual spectrum version, and
converted it to work with windows.
I’ve uploaded my version along with comprehensive instructions and camera
tips to my website:

I tested this software and outputted a video using scrap parts that I had
from old projects. Testing this project cost me 0$ thanks to the free
nature of openEyes. The video has been uploaded to google video, and is
also viewable from my website.
If I work with this algorithm further, I’ll post my results to this
listserv.
Thanks
-Joel Clemens
