Please find below, information on a newly published book called - 'Defiant
Birth : Women Who Resist Medical Eugenics' by Melinda Tankard Reist. It is
an anthology of stories by women who have had disabled children and disabled
women who have had children.
I am Thalidomide Impaired, and my own story 'Just Crash Through' about
having our son James, is published in the book.
At the moment it is only available in Australia, but is due to be published
here in the UK and in the USA in May or June.

and defiantly said yes to their babies, and no to the cult of perfection.'
