With controversy mounting over the Stonehenge Master Plan/tunnel scheme,
I've decided to run a poll. A chance to have you say!

The question is: What should be done about Stonehenge?

* Press ahead with the current plan as soon as possible
* Consider all alternatives, including the long-bore tunnel, before doing
anything else
* Leave it as it is and do nothing

Vote online now at http://www.stonehenge.care4free.net
It takes about 2 seconds and you can instantly see the results.
It's completely anonymous.

Inevitably, these options are a bit crude, but I think most people's views
seem to fall into one of the three categories, and the poll is designed to
do nothing more than roughly capture feelings. Personally, I'll be
interested to see how many people vote to keep the place just as it is.

Note that the system is smart enough to stop multiple votes.
Please pop back occasionally to check the results. I'll post them here when
a reasonable number of people (500? 1000?) have voted.

If you're not sure about the issues, there's plenty of background
information on the same website and, of course, on the CBA's own Stonehenge
web page: http://www.britarch.ac.uk/cba/stone1.html

Cheers..... ChrisW.
