Archives and records are important assets for any organisation, and good record keeping is an increasingly important part of running a charity or community group.
This introductory event is aimed at anyone who has an interest in the records of voluntary organisations, particularly staff, trustees or volunteers with responsibility for the organisational records and archives. It may be of particular interest to those keen to learn more about digitization and archives, as well as those who represent local or regional organisations in the East Midlands.
Funded by the British Academy, the event will be held at Netherseal Village Hall, South Derbyshire and is hosted by the Leonard Cheshire Archive and Loughborough University.
Attendance is free of charge but numbers are limited.
