Applications are invited for three Lecturer/Senior Lecturer positions at
in the Department of Statistics at the University of Auckland.
Applicants should have a PhD or equivalent and a proven record in
teaching and research. Applications are invited from persons with
research interests in any branch of Statistics, broadly interpreted, but
applications from those specializing in bioinformatics, biostatistics,
statistical genetics, statistical computing, social statistics and
sampling, applied probability, or areas related to business and finance
are particularly welcome.
One position will be a joint appointment with the School of Biological
Sciences. For this position we are looking for a person with interests
in large scale data analysis with particular reference to the data and
its statistical analysis arising from technologies such as metabolomics,
proteomics, and high throughput genomics.
