Joint International Society for Clinical Biostatistics (ISCB) and Australian Statistical Conference (ASC) 2018
26-30 August 2018, Melbourne, Australia
With just 2 weeks until the start of ISCB ASC 2018, the Local Organising Committee and Scientific Program Committee are putting the final touches together for a great conference. The Poster Program<https://iscbasc2018.com/cms/wp-content/uploads/ISCB_ASC_2018_Posters_for_program_final_for-website.pdf>, including over 100 posters, has now been released, along with details of the Poster Pitch Competition, where the top posters as selected by delegates will present on the main stage in the “Best-of-the-Best” poster session. The conference program<https://iscbasc2018.com/program/> covers a very broad range of topics which will be of interest to statisticians of all sorts as well as many others in data-intensive fields such as epidemiology and computer science. Beyond the mainstream biostatistical areas such as clinical trial methodology there are sessions relating to precision medicine, causal inference, deep learning, epidemiological modelling, highly complex data structures, genomics, environmetrics and survey methods.
Register<https://iscbasc2018.com/registration/> now: along with full conference registrations, 1 and 2 day registrations are available.
As well as a range of social events during the conference, including welcome drinks, the conference dinner<https://iscbasc2018.com/social-program/>, and an afternoon of conference excursions<http://iscbasc2018.com/conference-excursions/>, we are also arranging a day trip down the Great Ocean Road, one of the world’s most scenic coastal drives the day after the conference. If you have already registered for the conference, it is not too late to join us on the Great Ocean road, or any of the social events. Simply drop us an email at [log in to unmask] and we will add this to your booking.
