It is a pleasure to share with you the program of the 2017 edition of Made of Walking in Delphi and Amfissa, Greece (10 - 23 July), happening within the framework of the Animart Festival. Made of Walking Delphi is the sister event of the upcoming Made of Walking in La Romieu (27 August - 1 September) and both of them are conceptually linked by the theme Listening to the Ground, as well the theme of World Listening Day 2017 on 18 July. Silences and movements in the sacred landscape of Delphi are in a dialogue explored in walking actions, workshops, exhibitions, talks and round tables with contributors from Greece, Albania, Cyprus, Canada, Australia, Trinidad, UK, France, Portugal, Belgium and with further participants from Japan, Korea and the US.
Made of Walking is an independent unfunded peer to peer event, inviting artists, researchers and public to exchange walking practices - experiences, and made possible by the volunteer efforts of all involved.
Both for La Romieu (program to be announced soon) and for Delphi attendees are still welcome. More information on expression of interest by e-mail.
