Three postdoctoral positions are available at Imperial College London linked to a collaborative project that will develop a simulation-based safety validation framework for autonomous vehicles:

(salary range: £37,904 - £45,547 + benefits)
The successful applicants will be hosted at the Transport Systems & Logistics Laboratory<http://www.imperial.ac.uk/transport-systems/> (led by Dr Panagiotis Angeloudis<http://www.imperial.ac.uk/people/p.angeloudis>, Department of Civil & Environmental Engineering) and the Personal Robotics Laboratory<http://www.imperial.ac.uk/personal-robotics/> (led by Prof Yiannis Demiris<https://www.imperial.ac.uk/people/y.demiris>, Department of Electrical & Electronic Engineering).
The postholders will be joining a cross-departmental community of over 40 postdoctoral and PhD researchers, with expertise in transport systems, human-robot interaction, computer vision, vehicle intelligence, navigation, optimisation and machine learning. Furthermore, they will be working in close collaboration with the Institute of Security Science and Technology, our industrial partners (aiPod, Claytex, Digital Greenwich) and Transport for London.
Applicants should hold a PhD in Engineering, Computer Science or Mathematics for appointment at Research Associate Level, or be close to obtaining a PhD (or equivalent) for appointment at Research Assistant level. Skills and experience requirements vary among posts, and are outlined in the respective pages for each position.
