Towards a future that works for all: ESRC scoping workshop

The ESRC are holding a series of workshops to explore the shape of a potential new research investment around Work.
To date, workshops have been held in London and Edinburgh. Due to unprecedented demand, we will holding a third and final workshop in Birmingham city centre on 13 July 2018.
The workshop will seek to gather views from academics, researchers, policy-makers and practitioners at all levels of government, the business sector and the third-sector on the following indicative themes:
* Emerging technologies, skills and training
* New work practices, workplaces and business models (including the gig economy)
* Inequalities, insecure employment and in-work poverty
* Job quality, health and wellbeing
* Lifelong resilience and sustainability (including an ageing workforce)
The workshop will run 10.00 - 16.30 and will be organised around a series of expert presentations and interactive table discussions. A detailed agenda will be available closer to the date.

* Professor Monder Ram, University of Birmingham
* Professor Sir Ian Diamond, University of Aberdeen/UKRI Board

* Name
* role and organisation
* areas of interest and expertise
* three themes you would most like to contribute to in order of preference (if you do not provide three choices, the office will randomly assign you to a theme for some of the discussions)
Places are strictly limited due to the size of the venue as a result please note places will be allocated on a first-come-first serve basis.
