Try checking the jobs with
checkjob <jobid>
and looking for them in
diagnose -j
Certainly pbs and maui can get out of sync.
If you:
1. Delete or add a node in PBS
2. Change a queue paramter (e.g max wall time)
3. Change a node propertie
you must restart maui.
Just stopping or disabling a queue and you do not need to restart
maui.
