Hi - I'm running a first-level analysis, setting up my fMRI model specification. I'm new to SPM, so any pointers would be great.
Let me briefly explain my dataset. fMRI is collected during a visuomotor task. There are 10 trials (each 62 TRs long). These trials are separated by breaks of roughly 7 TRs rest. During the trials, subjects perform a visuomotor task (the task is the same across the 10 trials). Behavioural data is also collected (1 value per each trial), representing how well subjects performed on the task. Subjects get better at the task across trials (ie there is learning).
I am interested in how the fMRI data reflects:
1) the task design (62 TR trial, 7 TR rest, 62 TR trial, 7 TR rest, 62 TR trial.......... )
2) the behavior performance for each trial (which hopefully would have some relationship with the activation). For one subject, the behavioural data looks like this: [.2050, .5370, .1150, .2290, .2300, .6290, .9130, .8540, .4170, .644].
How can I set up the fMRI model specification? Maybe this would be a single condition with 2 PM's?
For the PM reflecting (2) the behavioural performance for each trial, would I just put in those behavioural values as 'values' under the PM, and set 'first-order' under 'Polynomial Expansion'?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Joelle
