A minor note (the other two respondents make the correct, main point---SPM displays neurologically, and you shouldn't alter that)---you can switch how SPM display things with the "flip" setting by altering one of the *.m files (for SPM2 and later).
That being said, you should do so only if you need to do so to get the images to display the way they "should" be displayed in SPM, i.e., neurologically.
