Vahid,
It depends on how the *.img files were created as to whether the TR value
has been retained. It may be saved in the "descrip" field. You can check
this with SPM in your path in MATLAB with:
f = 'fname.img';
v = spm_vol(f)
You may need to refer to your original scanner data. If DICOM, the field is
accessible with the MATLAB Image Processing Toolbox like this:
f = 'fname.dcm';
info = dicominfo(f);
TR = info.RepetitionTime
