Yes, but there must be a significant degree of difference between
believing in the existence of something you cannot see and believing in
the existence of something (eg. Una's chastity, and all that it figures)
even after you see evidence that directly contradicts your belief (Una,
there in front of your eyes, sporting with the Squire).
For my part, I continue to believe that Kansas creationists who ignore the
evidence for evolution are *not* exemplary Spenserians...
