Wonders of the Universe Lecture
'Wonders of the Universe' talk in London this Sunday (25th June) by Dr Francisco Diego from UCL - who has appeared on Stephen Hawking's GENIUS series, Brian Cox's Wonders of the Universe program, and BBC's 'The Planets.'
The aim of the talk is to show the role astronomy can play in the lives of ordinary people - from accountants to nurses, and to offer scientific answers to the big questions in life, such as; how the universe formed and why, our place within it, and how we can give a sense of meaning and purpose to our existence here on earth, while knowing our cosmic insignificance.
