I suffered with tenosynovitis some years ago. It is a lottery as to whether or not it actually goes away so it's difficult to put a timescale on recovery. In my case, I tried a wrist support for months to no avail. Eventually, a NEO CORTEF injection into the "anatomical snuff box" on my right hand cured the condition within days and I had full functionality. Luckily, it has never reappeared.

> I am trying to find "usual" recovery times for tenosynovitis of the dominant hand, due to see a specialist no physio, NSAIDs ineffective....in a young person who has not complied with diabetes medication regimes!

> GP has said complete rest- given it is dominant hand that is unlikely at home so boss wants him back at work doing other stuff ie filing, post etc. .
