Dear all
Field Broadcast has a day of experimental live broadcasts coming from a
roadtrip through Derbyshire tomorrow. This is part of our project with
Near Now at Broadway, Nottingham, UK. We are working with a group of
artists to produce a collaborative live broadcast event in the early
autumn, and as part of the development of this project we are piling into
two people carriers tomorrow, and heading for the hills, with A LOT of kit.
We'll be trying out some new software, including multiple broadcast
windows, so there'll probably be some moments of disaster, and some of
beauty!
If you would like to keep an eye on what we are up to, take a look here:

Full details of the day are below
Let us know what you catch, and what you think
Thanks and best wishes

Field Broadcast are taking 10 artists on a road trip for a day of live
broadcasts. We will depart from The Broadway, Nottingham and head for
Hackney Road in the Derbyshire Dales taking in the scenery; black rocks,
television masts, canal tunnels and giant quarries. It is a day for
experimenting with the medium of live broadcast en plein air and in car.
This webpage will allow you to view these broadcasts, simply leave this
page open and wait... when a broadcast begins it will ping audibly onto the
screen. If you have things to get on with, just push the page to one side
or minimise it and listen out for the pings.
You can also follow the days events on Twitter @fieldbroadcast
The Field Broadcast Roadtrip is part of Domestic Pursuits commissioned by
Near Now @ The Broadway, Nottingham and is supported by Arts Council England
