Hi All,
I am working on a project that is seeking to find out the Bangladeshi
community needs in Paddington, London and I was wondering whether anyone has
done any research on the Bangladeshi community or knows of any work done on
the Bangladeshi group. It does not have to be health related.
Thanks

Yes. I did a bit on Yemeni Males as part of a study of Asian Men's
views on
health - available from Mary Seacole Centre, de Montfort University,
for
£4.50 including postage etc, or from CRER at Warwick University (The
Sahara
Project report - Johnson & Verma). You might also like to contact
Mohd Al
Masyabi - Yemeni Development Foundation in Birmingham - they have a
website
(ydf.org I think) and the Muath Trust, also in Birmingham. I thought
all the
best stuff was done in Liverpool - at least on Somalis. there is
however a
li/ovely community in South Wales who I met - not got an address
handy,
however.
