Hi all
Via the SGMRG's facebook page (www.facebook.com/sgmrg
<http://www.facebook.com/sgmrg> ), I have been sent a link to a very
interesting Historic England (ie English Heritage as was) report. It is all
about early railways and there are lots of mentions of mines (and quarries).
Locally to the SGMRG, Coalpit Heath is mentioned on pages 71 & 80, there is
quite a lot about Shropshire too - also Cornwall and many other mining
areas.
Take a look and pass on to anyone who may be interested.

This email is bcc'd to you as I've sent this to people in different groups.
