medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture
Dear colleagues,
Our library owns a single leaf of a medieval manuscript that is framed
and on a wall in the offices. It includes the beginning of the second
chapter of the work:
c. 2 Quis potest ordines conferre et de modo conferendi etc. Episcopus
et nullus inferior homo potest ordines conferre...
The script looks to me like a late medieval English hand.
I ran it through what online resources I had under hand, but no luck.
Any clues would be welcome.
