As far as I can tell, Avranches now only has one collegiate church, the
cathedral of SS G&P. John informs us that the former cathedral was
dedicated to St Andrew. I don't know if SS G&P was another collegiate
church, or (more likely) a modern building replacing the old cathedral.
What we are looking for is a collegiate church at somewhere beginning (in
Latin) "Aur..."
