CALL FOR PAPERS
Postgraduate Conference 2020 ‘HERITAGE AND FUTURE(S)’

The University of Stirling would like to invite postgraduate students and early career researchers to send academic and creative practice contributions on the theme of ‘Heritage and Future(s)’.
This conference invites participants to explore the ever-shifting landscapes and connections between the here and now, our heritage, and our possible futures. We invite contributions from all disciplines within the Arts and Humanities, including interdisciplinary papers and collaborations as well as creative practice contributions. Potential topics of discussion may include, but are not limited to, the following:
* Sustainable Tourism
* Environmentalism
* Scottish Studies
* Heritage and Film
* Social, Political and Cultural Change
* Social Capital
* Religious Heritage and (Re-)Imaginings
* The Future of Scottish Literature
* Old Stories, New Media
* Hauntology
* Community Heritage and Future
* Gentrification and Future Cityscapes
* Political Movements and Mobilisations
* Past experience, Future Action
* Challenging Gender Norms and Perceptions
* Heritage and Health
* Digital Heritage, Digitisation and Future Technologies
Please submit a proposal (250 words max.) and a short biographical note (50 words max.) to [log in to unmask] by 27 March 2020 if you would like to present a twenty minute talk at the conference.
The event will take place at Pathfoot building, University of Stirling, on 22 May 2020.
