The academic journal ARCHITECTURE MEDIA POLITICS SOCIETY is calling for articles for forthcoming editions in 2012 and 2013. Its themes revolve around the relationship of architecture and the built environment with questions of the media, politics and society. Multidisciplinary papers are welcomed as particularly pertinent to the journal’s diverse perspective.
Areas of interest include (but are not restricted to): architecture, urbanism, regeneration, heritage, cultural and political identity, socio-cultural symbolism, mediated representation and environments.
Papers may be historical or contemporary in their perspective and, although by no means a requirement, may project their arguments towards future developments. Papers about US and UK architecture and its relationship with the politics of those two countries are particularly sought.
The journal publishes monthly. Please submit abstracts, works in progress or completed texts for consideration.
