Perhaps if someone with too much time on their hands could compare the number of people who have submitted or responded to a request (i.e. the colleagues who have sought and received generous assistance from other colleagues) against the number of those who are too busy to hit the delete button occasionally or do a proper set of filtering rules (but not to email the list about it), we'd have some evidence one way or another... (we should ignore the silent majority in both cases as they are clearly too sensible to get involved either way) and why aren't they complaining about the jobs and journal duplicates? What is it about ILLs that generate such passion? And do you also demand that Waterstones only stocks items in which they are personally interested? EBM = Evidence Based Moaning perhaps?
