Event: Engineering information: today and tomorrow

This event is aimed at engineering librarians working in academic, public and private institutions. The sessions will look at present and future resources available to the engineering community.
The morning's session will look at the needs of our users and some of the resources available including grey literature, validated data and ways of keeping up to date.
The afternoon's session will examine how future technologies, including Web 2.0, will change the way information will be accessed and used.
This all day event is an opportunity to examine and discuss with fellow librarians the needs and resources of the engineering community.
Both the morning and afternoon sessions will provide opportunities to discuss issues with the panel of speakers and fellow attendees.
