In general tablet computers do not always display all the pc visible web page details. I have an android tablet and have to chop and change the android browser depending. What is very useful is a drop down that allows me to request the 'desktop version' as often the website detects the device is a mobile one and automatically redirects to the mobile version. Hope this general info helps.

Subject: [lis-e-resources] Accessing ScienceDirect on an iPad
Hi all,
Before I contact Elsevier and end up looking really stupid because I'm one of the only people in the world not to know about iPads, I wonder if I could ask for some advice.
I have a member of staff here who has been using ScienceDirect on an iPad. I believe this has been via the regular web interface rather than the app. It has become apparent that ScienceDirect displays differently on an iPad - there's a box missing that shows records on Scopus.
Has anyone come across this before?
Thanks in advance.
Best wishes,
Sarah
