That’s a really interesting point. We never used our post-nominals either but because we’re based in HR we felt using them would give us more credibility among the academic community.

Being a modest bunch, our team didn’t used to put our post-nominals on email signatures, but most of us do now to support our professionalism and academic credibility.

As a librarian lurking on this list I can confirm that my post-nominals are MA, MCLIP. I am currently working on FHEA and hoping to have it by this time next year. 
 
I wonder whether there are other MCLIPs on here?
