About the role:
You'll focus on developing resilience-informed DSS framework by producing the case study computational model and in collaboration with Bradia partners. The role will also involve producing deliverables, attending consortium meetings and workshops. You’ll be travelling to Brazil (São Paulo) for data collection under the guidance of the PI and the Co-Is. You’ll be responsible for preparing the research materials and administering the data management (from data collection to initial analysis) as well as importing and managing the data into the case study model. You may also be asked to contribute to writing conference and journal papers.
Ideally with a degree in Water/Environmental Engineering, and/or Urban Planning and a PhD or recently submitted, you must have knowledge of sustainable drainage systems. You’ll also have a proven track record of computer programming and/or multi-criteria decision making and background in one or more of the following areas: optimisation technique(s) and ArcGIS and/or QGIS. With excellent written and oral communication skills and attention to detail, you’ll have expert knowledge in MATLAB.
