Dear all,
In Jacobina region, Bahia, Brazil, we have described St+Grt+chl+crn or
Bt+Sil+Ms+st+crd+Qtz assemblages. In the former st is in contact with grt,
but in the latter st is always as inclusions in crd. So, it seems Garcia's
interpretation fits well these assemblages. In addition, in this region
there are massifs of leucogranites and we have interpreted the fast orogenic
decompression was accompanied by voluminous peraluminous magmatic activity
which changed the metamorphic conditions from MP/MT (Barrovian type) to LP/HT.
Best regards,
Carlson Leite
