Working for Wellbeing - Museums and Galleries in partnership with the Health Sector

Come join us to find out more about the work of museums and galleries in partnership with health sector that affect the wellbeing of our audiences and our staff.
During the morning session we will hear from three speakers who will outline the current policy, challenges and opportunities for development. There will be a SOAPBOX session where there is the chance to provide a quick 5 min heads up on current work, recent projects or a plea for ideas/partners. This can be booked in advance or on the day (limited slots available)
In the afternoon, we will have an in-depth and interactive case study on the recent +CultureShots week. +CultureShots was a week of activity held in Central Manchester Hospitals in February 2012.
Outcomes for Participants
· *Develop an understanding of benefits of cross sector working for wellbeing outcomes including an overview of current policy
· *Hear about a variety of programmes of different scales and methods of engagement ·
· * Have an opportunity to network with colleagues and share ideas with other participants

Wendy and Colleagues will share their experiences of organising such an event and how they have developed their relationships with their local hospital.
