Wouldn't this just be estimated if you add scanner type as a parameter in your model?
Have you scanned any of the same subjects pre and post upgrades? That would likely be needed if a calibration was even possible.... Which I am not sure.
I'm also curious what the community thinks about this.... For example even scanning different subjects on the same type of equipment/scanner but at two different sites....

We noticed to groups differences in our diffusion data results from changes in
scan parameters as different coils and data obtained before and after
gradients up date.
Do you have any tool for data normalization (maybe part of TBSS scripts)?
