There's more than one way to do this, but I think fslstats can be used to
give this information from the segmented volumes (please correct me if I am
wrong).
E.g.,
fslstats yourfile_all_fast_firstseg.nii.gz -l 16 -u 18 -V
returns the volume in the left hippocampus (in voxels and cubic mm). The
numbers 16 and 18 refer to the structure being measured
http://www.fmrib.ox.ac.uk/fsl/first/cma_subcortical_label.html
e.g., 17 is left hippocampus, so we threshold the volume at 16 and 18 (non
inclusive) and measure the associated volume.

Subject: [FSL] First Volumen?
My name is Nicolas (Student of Biomedical engineering)
I am learning to use the FSL-VBM & FIRST
my question is:
where First reported segmentation of the volume?
archives?
.vtk
.html
.bvars
ExAMPLE:
step 1:
run_first_all image.nii.gz 4 outputimage
step2:
output...:
outputimage_L_Accu
outputimage_L_Amyg
outputimage_L_Hip
..
..
..
step 3:
fslview-->good! Segmentation
step 4:
I do not understand-->
may be...
first_roi_slicesdir image.nii.gz <and here?>
option 1:
first_roi_slicesdir image.nii.gz outputimage_L_Hip ??
I am wanting to know how much is the volume of the segmentation of the
hippocampus
Thank you very much for your time,
