‘Environmental Factors as Drivers of Human Mobility’
I am Thekli Anastasiou, currently a PhD candidate at the University of Sheffield researching migration and displacement in the context of environmental disasters and climate change. I am organising a panel for the IASFM 16th Conference on “Rethinking Forced Migration and Displacement: Theory, Policy, and Praxis” which will take place in Poland between the 12th and 15th of July in 2016. The panel invites papers discussing issues relevant to the topic of human mobility, and primarily displacement, in the context of environmental and climate change. Please submit an abstract (250 words) together with your name and institutional affiliation to Thekli Anastasiou ( [log in to unmask] ) in the first instance by Monday 18th of January. Based on the proposed abstracts, a panel proposal will be drafted and submitted.
