The following forthcoming conference might be of interest to list members working on urban and regional
development, policy or research with a focus on Central and Eastern Europe.
The conference will showcase challenges, determinants and perspectives of development of different kinds of
metropolises and peripheries in CEE. The emphasis is on the economic performance, social, and political issues with
respect to regional, national and European dimensions.
The 2019 RSA CEE Conference will also feature a Policy Day that will present plenary presentations, panels and
paper sessions on issues and inputs concerned with CEE place-based policies.
